Watt Shocks- Linebacker T.J. Watt is third in the NFL in sacks with 10.5 sacks this season… Registered a team-high two forced fumbles while also intercepting a pass… Produced 30 tackles with 22 of them being solo tackles… He leads the Steelers organization in all-time sacks with 88.0 in his seven years in the NFL.

Browns Beatdown- Steelers have a record of 31-8-1 in the last twenty years the Browns have squared off against them capped by a 12-game win streak dating from Nov. 23, 2003, to Oct. 18, 2009… The Steelers have an all-time record of 81-62-1 against the Browns dating back to their first matchup back on Oct. 7, 1950.

Stealing Steelers- The Steelers have registered six turnovers in the last three games forcing four interceptions and two fumbles… Safety Devontae Kazee has picked off two of the four passes including the game-winning interception last week against the Green Bay Packers… Steelers are tied for sixth in the NFL with takeaways this season registering 10.

Kenny Pittkett- Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett is in his second season in the NFL playing just a few minutes away from his collegiate team, the University of Pittsburgh … Pickett in his final year of college football threw for 42 touchdowns and led Pitt to an ACC title beating Wake Forest… Pickett in two seasons has registered seven game-winning drives including three this season against the Baltimore Ravens, Los Angeles Rams and Tennessee Titans.

One Two Punch- Running backs Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren have produced on average 181 rushing yards a game in the last matchups in their wins against the Tennessee Titans and the Green Bay Packers… The Steelers have also registered three rushing touchdowns in their last two.

George’s Gains- Wide Receiver George Pickens leads the team in catches (33), receiving yards (566) and receiving touchdowns (3) … Two of his three touchdowns came on deep passes from quarterback Kenny Pickett over 40 yards including a walk-off touchdown against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 5.

Dicing the Division- The Steelers are playing their second of two conference matchups against the Browns beating them last time out on Monday night back on Week 2, 26-22… Pittsburgh is currently 2-0 against the AFC North this season.

New Kids on the Tackles- New Linebackers Elandon Roberts and Cole Holcomb lead the defense with tackles at 56 for Roberts and 54 for Holcomb… Roberts registered a sack and a half against the Jacksonville Jaguars with Holecomb registering a season-high 11 tackles.

Where’s Watson? - The Cleveland Browns will be without quarterback Deshaun Watson for the remainder of the season after suffering a fracture in his right shoulder that will need repair with surgery… Quarterbacks Dorian Thompson-Robinson and P.J. Walker are projected to replace Watson for this week’s contest.

Bossin Boswell- Kicker Chris Boswell has gone 30-for-31 for his kicks this season… Boswell went perfect from kicks 49 yards or less while also going perfect for his extra points.

Duquesne Survives Late Rally and Overtime Against Queens College 87-81 to Improve to 3-0

Duquesne led as far as 21 points up against Queens College, but when you saw the end of the second half, the Dukes had to go into overtime.  The Dukes took down the Royals at home, in overtime, as coming up clutch was the name of the game.  “I knew once we went into overtime, you know, the game was kind of in our hands. Duquesne Taking On Rhode Island in Second Round of the A10 Tournament

The Duquesne University Men's Basketball team is having a round three matchup but not at home a few blocks away from home at PPG as they take on Rhode Island University in the second round of the A10 Tournament.  These two teams are 1-1 winning at their respective home turfs. The Dukes are looking to send themselves to the quarterfinals after finishing the year on a positive note winning in dramatic fashion with the fourth largest NCAA comeback against the Richmond Spiders on Senior Day.  The Dukes are led by a quartet of talented offensive stars including Alex Williams, Jimmie Williams, David Dixon and Terance Guinyard who have been the bulk of Duquesne's offense. Duquesne is 30-35 all time against the Rams with them hoping to take the season series over them.  A key thing on both sides will be this magic number of 70 with Rhode Island only averaging 66.6 points during conference play.  Duquesne's offense has gone a bit cold down the stretch struggling against Dayto...

St Bonaventure vs La Salle Recap

As the clock hit 0 St Bonaventure's head coach Mark Schmidt will have to wait at least one more day before his season comes to a close as they dominate La Salle in the first contest of the A-10 Tournament winning with a final score of 99-80.  The game was decided quickly in the second half as they opened up after smothering La Salle for the final four minutes of the first half keeping them scoreless and down by nine the Bonnies opened up the second half with a 13-5 run that essentially ended the Explorers season.  The losses of Jerome Brewer Jr. and Jaeden Marshall were definitely felt for La Salle as the offense severely struggled along with the defense.  The main star for the Explorers was Rob Dockery who led the charge with 31 points in a double-double to end his season.  While the shooting for La Salle was slow in the first half it picked up with a resilient bounce back performance with Ashton Walker going 5-for-12 in the second half finishing with 15 points....
