The End of the Seattle Seahawks

The End of the Seattle Seahawks   Today to end the year 2023 was the final blast right through the hearts of the Seattle Seahawks fanbase as they lost an embarrassing matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers 30-23 at Lumen Field to end any hope the Seahawks had of making the playoffs. The play was abysmal from missed tackles, an inability to convert a third-down and no pressure generated against Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph all night. “I have to admit, like there was some noise, like I knew what time practice was and I would just go sit there and watch and it absolutely killed me and made me upset, but there was really nothing I could do about it. I went to all the games wishing like I was still part of it and still part of the team. But I don't know. It's like something really clicked for me and it was hard because, I still see the team, and go do team things too. I like missed being a part of the team.” -Mary Genrich, Duquesne University former student-athlete class of 2024 Mary Genrich came in as a walk-on for the Duquesne University women’s soccer team who had been released from the team during her junior year of college while going for her major in Sports Information and Media and a Business Certificate. “Honestly, the best decision coach (Al Alvine) ever made for me was releasing me from the team,” Genrich elaborated about her being released. “If he had never done that, I would have never gotten ...
